Antioxidant 802 (DSTDP) is a sulfur-containing secondary antioxidant with high thermal stability and low volatility, widely used in the polymer and plastics industries. This product is also known as Irganox PS 802 and DSTDP. Due to its excellent resistance to heat and oxidation, it is considered one of the most effective stabilizers for polymeric materials. In addition, it helps minimize discoloration and preserves the appearance and quality of products throughout processing and service life.

Antioxidant 802 prevents polymer degradation by decomposing hydroperoxides and peroxides formed during oxidation processes, thereby extending the service life of materials. It performs particularly well when used in combination with phenolic antioxidants and UV absorbers, creating a strong synergistic effect. It also helps maintain the physical and mechanical properties of materials while improving their resistance to heat and oxygen.

This product is widely used in polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), PVC, ABS, rubber compounds, plastic films, polyolefin geomembranes, adhesives, and other polymer materials. In addition, it is utilized in lubricating oils, greases, soaps, food-related applications, and certain cosmetic and personal care products, helping to protect materials against oxidation and improve their durability.
