Calcium zinc stabilizer for WPC, also known as heat stabilizer for wood plastic composite, is an essential additive in the production of PVC-based wood plastic products. In these products, PVC is combined with wood flour, and the presence of wood makes the material degrade sooner and change color at processing temperatures. For this reason, wood plastic needs a stabilizer with a special formulation, not a general-purpose one. Our product is a calcium zinc grade made specifically for WPC, combining calcium and zinc salts with co-stabilizers and lubricants. It is free of lead and cadmium and is used in place of lead-based stabilizers in the production of WPC profiles, boards and panels.
Besides providing thermal stability during extrusion, this stabilizer plays a key role in the final properties of the product. Its main features include preserved mechanical properties, a smooth and even surface, stable melt flow and consistent batch quality. Products made with it show better durability against sunlight and weathering and less color change. The components of the formulation can also help delay flame spread. Using it instead of lead reduces health risks and environmental harm.
WPC products made with this stabilizer are used for outdoor decking, building facades, fences, wall and ceiling panels, garden furniture and building profiles. With this grade, WPC manufacturers can offer products with an even appearance, suitable strength and long service life.
